Tell me about Your Pet
Name: Peanut
Type of animal (bird, dog, cat, etc.): mixed breed cat
Favorite toy: Linda’s Hair thing
Favorite trick: retrieves wads of paper like a dog
Favorite habit (jumps on Grandma, begs for food, etc.): Likes to bother Linda when she is trying to work on the computer or read a book.

Now, for the fun part…….Tell me all about your pet and their behavior. The more you tell me, the better your song will be. You don’t need to be a great writer or speller (except for the name of your pet and your family). It can be simple bullet lists or short lines of information. Keep in mind, the more you tell us about your pet, the better your song will be. Put the really important stuff first, then work down to the everyday things your pet does. You’ll be surprised how much can be put into a song.

Born 3/24/95
Light caramel & white in color, thick rough fur; thick itchy skin that loves to be brushed with a heavy metal brush, like what you’d use on a charcoal grill; loves going outside to chase leaves, chipmunk, squirrels, birds; never caught one; not a mean bone in his body; loves to sit on my lap; was a big plump cat who had the weight advantage over Squeaker and could pin him down, but never hurt him; was silent while Squeaker was around to do the talking, but now meows all the time; says good morning and hello; roams the house calling for Squeaker; and has loss half his weight. Loves to knock pens and things off the living room tables and then to pounce on them. Loves to knock the rocks off my rock water garden & drink the water. Doesn’t like me to work at my desk; demands my attention by pounding his paws on my arm. Doesn’t like me to read or watch TV either; he gets between me and the book/TV. He misses Squeaker. Peanut was always much more cooperative with the vet and other people than Squeaker was. Peanut never hisses at strangers or threatens the vet. He used to like to play fetch like a dog, but he’s grown out of that; still likes chasing his tail though. Likes to sleep on the couch, the bathroom floor and the extra bed in the guest room. As he gets older, he sleeps a lot.
